Working Hours:
Week 1 - 05:30 - 13:30
Week 2 - 13:00 - 21:00

Location: Nottingham

Responsibilities of a Team Leader
·Assisting with the effective utilisation of personnel and liaising with the Engineering Management Team to provide adequate availability of vehicles.
·Leading the Engineering Maintenance activities in the absence of other Engineering Management; planning and prioritising workload and supervising other team members to maximise vehicle availability and reliability.
·Liaise with the stores and purchasing activities ensuring parts availability.
·Providing technical advice to the Engineering Managers on maintenance and servicing matters.
·Controlling and administering health and safety awareness and compliance in all aspects of fleet and plant activity.
·Attending and participating in meetings and training sessions as required.
·Identifying staff training as required and report to the Engineering Manager
·Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of staff areas, premises and equipment. 

Skills and Qualifications of a Team Leader
·Have a minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent
·Full PCV driving licence is essential
·Have good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements in an Engineering function
·Have a proven successful track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships
·Work well in a team environment
·Have the ability to support less experienced colleagues to develop in their roles
·Be reliable and flexible in your approach to hours of work as you will be required to provide cover when necessary.
