WELDER FABRICATOR
Salary:£32,000 - £38,000
Working Hours:Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Location:Portsmouth
 
Our client is currently looking for a Welder fabricator / Coachbuilder / Panel Beater to join their forward-thinking team.

This role requires a dynamic, hard-working Welder Fabricator with relevant experience in the commercial vehicle repairs sector.
 
Responsibilities of a Welder Fabricator
·Body Repairs
·Fabrication
·Strip/fit
·Prepping
·Efficient and conscientious worker
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
·Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
·To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager
·Duties to include the use of hand tools, pistol drills, riveters, MIG welders, and Oxy - Acetylene torches.
·Alongside the above roles you will be required to get involved with other aspects of the repairs as required including general workshop duties.
 
Skills and Qualifications of a Welder Fabricator
·Abilities or qualification in welding (MIG) essential.
·Ideally have full clean licence but not essential
·The ability to do prep work and any strip / fitting will be favourable
·Experience working on vehicle would be a distinct advantage for this role
·Experience working in Aluminium is beneficial
·A small amount of mild steel / stainless may be required
